Winthrop Hall

Winthrop is a 3 story restored mansion built in 1845. Thissellwood, as the property was originally known, was the home of John Thissell. Endicott acquired it in 1944 and renamed it for Governor John Winthrop, the first Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Bedroom choices consist of singles and doubles. Shared bathrooms are located on each floor. The hall also has two common rooms used for socializing or watching television. The common kitchen area includes a full size refrigerator, microwave, sink and multiple cabinet spaces. Winthrop is located on the beach side of campus and near to the main campus entrance. It does not have air-conditioning, but it does have a porch, a beautiful lawn and a great view of the beach!

See the Campus Map page for a map of the campus and directions between buildings.
