What to Bring

  1. Bring a check for $35 to check-in made out to Beantown Camp for your room key deposit. Your check will be ripped up or returned to you at checkout when you turn in your key. There will be a drop box if you are unable to check out during scheduled times.
  2. Pillow and blanket. The college linen package includes top sheet, fitted sheet, pillowcase and towel set. If housing on campus and you’re not renting the linen package, don’t forget to bring your own linens! A sleeping bag is an option.
  3. A selection of comfortable dance shoes is recommended. Dance spaces have wood and marley floors.
  4. Water bottle! There are water refill stations on campus.
  5. For our dance Sunday evening, June 28th, we’re adding some extra fun with a PAJAMA PARTY! So express your creativity and come dressed for the theme. Bring your coziest pajamas, fluffiest slippers (or dance shoes!), and swingiest moves — and get ready for another unforgettable night of live big band music and social dancing — keeping the energy high until we’re all sleepwalking through swingouts!

Whether you’re rocking vintage sleepwear, cartoon PJs, or full glam robe energy, come ready to dance, laugh, and lounge. Bring your comfy vibes and dancing feet!

Any questions please contact: Pajama Sam

The music for the evening will be with this year’s Beantown All Star Band, including Gordon Webster, Eyal Vilner, and Taryn Newborne. You know they will be swinging!

  6. Prepare yourself for Beantown Revue! This variety show on Tuesday night is one of the not-to-be-missed highlights of the week—full of suspense, drama, comedy, and entertainment. If you have a special talent, perhaps a fun skit, or something else you or a group would like to share, start planning your act! Don’t forget to pack that rainbow wig, juggling balls, batons, kazoo or whatever you’ll need to showcase your ultimate stardom at Beantown 2026!
  7. Dance related items to sell in the Camp Shop (15% commission).
  8. Yoga mat or towel are recommended for afternoon stretch with Ramona and Shelby’s fitness classes.
  9. A musical instrument if you would like to participate in music jams planned and unplanned throughout the week.
  10. A mattress cover for extra comfort. All beds are twin XL. There is no housekeeping service or linen exchange. You may want to bring extra towels. You do need to bring your own toiletries (face cloth, soap, shampoo, cups, etc.).
  11. Sports equipment you might like for extra activities on campus: beach volleyball, tennis, the fitness center, running or hiking.
  12. Face masks, specifically N95, KN95, KF94, or surgical masks. The safety level is vastly different with these highly protective masks vs other types. Mask wearing overall is optional, however, there may be a situation where you will need one.
  13. Covid-19 at home tests to have available if needed.
  14. You may want some cash to make purchases in the Camp Shop, snacks at the Beantown Café, incidentals, and private lessons.
