Beantown Camp was founded in 1997 by Tony and Aurelie Tye of Hop to the Beat and Ivan and Elisabet Berggren of the Swedish Swing Society. The aim has always been to offer a camp that provides outstanding training in a setting with a warm community feel and a great social life. Each year the camp has continued to evolve along with the national and international Lindy scene.
