Tai Chi

Richard Badu will be teaching a Tai Chi class aimed specifically for Lindy Hop dancers on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday mornings.

Outdoor Fitness

With Kenny Nelson on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Begin your day with dynamic stretching and a workout featuring varied functional movement. Workouts will feature body weight exercises amongst Endicott College’s natural environment.

Afternoon Stretch

Dancing all day and night? Ease, eliminate and prevent sore aching muscles. Join Linda Freeman and enjoy some needed body R&R. Please bring your own Yoga mat as only a limited number will be available.

Practice Time

An open practice is scheduled most days just before dinner. Practices will be hosted by Tara Weinstein and Jon Tigert. This will be a good time to meet up with classmates to go over what you have learned in class.

Shoe Chroming Party

Bring shoes to chrome!! If you want to turn a wonderfully comfortable pair of shoes into full time dance shoes in which you can effortlessly slide across the floor, Ed Wilson will be offering a shoe chroming party during the weekend of camp. Bring the shoes, fifteen bucks, and a willingness to do it yourself (with plenty of guidance available). Ed will supply the materials. Best choices are shoes that offer lots of arch support and have rubbery soles (the cement doesn’t stick to synthetic soles as well). Kits will also be available in the Camp Shop for the same price. If you bring new shoes make certain to wear them first—enough to scuff up the bottom so that none of the rubber has a glazed look.
