Like Catalina and Herrang, Beantown is a Swing Dance Week dedicated to the preservation of Lindy Hop. Going to Beantown is like attending Frankie Manning's birthday, something everybody should experience at least once as a Lindy Hopper. Jenny & I are proud to say that we teach at Beantown as we think the event has few rivals providing such high quality instructors, top class bands, fabulous accommodation, good food and top DJs in a friendly atmosphere that makes us want to return year after year.

Beantown? Oolala. C'est fantastique, magnifique, c'est super. I love the community feeling and being on a small campus. The classes are small enough to get to know all the students. Best cabaret night. Best band in the world. Beantown for sure is one of my favorite camps of the year.

Thank you for such a wonderful week. I think your Beantown Camp is amazingly well-run.

Upon my arrival, the camp completely met all of my expectations and more. Although I was quite busy, I never felt stressed, and I thought the schedule allowed just the right amount of flexibility. I also thought it was great that the program attracted such a nice and diverse group of people.

The instruction was superb. I was very impressed that the instructors focused on technique in addition to steps; not all instructors do that, especially at the beginning levels. We had to do things the correct way rather than just do them, but I never felt like I was getting hit over the head with it either. They were all very open to questions too, and they didn't try to rush through things.

I could go on about other aspects of the program -- the activities arranged, the communication, the ice water. Everything was great, down to the details. I will try to attend again in future years, and I would certainly recommend it to nice people I know. I congratulate you on all the hard work it must have taken to have everything so flawless, and I thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Wow! What a camp! I'd like to hand it to the organizers for putting together an amazing camp. Everything from the instructors to the music...housing...food (ok, it's a cafeteria, folks)... was top-notch. Thanks for making my first camp experience such a damn positive one! I just got back from the Beantown Lindy Hop Summer Camp, and I must say that it was a great time with great classes and great people. I had a lot more fun than at the usual dance/competition weekend mostly because camp gave me a chance to not just meet new people, but to also get to know them. I hope I can make it again next year!
